History of MdC E-mail

Mas de la Caçadora was founded at the end of 2003 by a group of wine lovers fond of the landscape and the atmosphere of the Priorat region. Most of us have a broad experience in the wine industry which can be traced back to our ancestors.

Located in the village of Els Guiamets and under Montsant Apellation of Origin, our cellar has a capacity of 350 hectolitres and we elaborate from young white and red wines, to white barrel fermented and special barrel aged red wines. 

The production of Mas de la Caçadora is entirely from our estate, combining the care of old vineyards in free-standing system with modern trellised plantations. No chemical products are used at all, hence we always apply ecological growing techniques, in order to achieve a perfect harmony with the environment.

We grow a range of 7 varieties in 10 Hectares: Black Garnatxa, Carinyena, Merlot and  Cabernet Sauvignon, White Garnatxa, Macabeu and Muscat of Alexandria.
